Benefits of Membership

ISONG offers members opportunities for education, leadership, exchange, and socialization. ISONG offers Global Access Membership with equitable rates for low- and middle-income countries. Members receive the latest references on genetics including educational programs, job opportunities, e-communications, membership directory, book discounts, program information, and a discounted registration fee for the annual ISONG meeting and educational webinars. ISONG members are also eligible to apply for the annual ISONG grants in research, education, and clinical practice.

Who are the members of ISONG?

Any registered nurse who has an interest in genetics is welcome to become a member of ISONG. Our membership is diverse and reflects the broad needs of those who have genetic conditions.

Student Membership

Student membership is for any student who is enrolled full time in a program leading to an academic degree in nursing, genetics, or a related field of study.

Global Access Membership

ISONG is committed to expanding worldwide participation in genomics nursing. To help make membership accessible across regions with differing economic resources, we offer reduced membership rates for individuals residing in low- and middle-income countries as defined by the World Bank Country Income Classification.

How to Join

Find your country in the World Bank’s most recent income classification (see the World Bank website or this list). Then select the matching Country Class level when you join ISONG.
